Privacy Policy

Effective date: 9 October 2026

This policy explains what happens to information in connection with the website at quietconcept.online. The entity responsible for that website, and for this policy, is MUSICAL TECHNOLOGY GANG s.r.o., of Vojenova 2481/7, Libeň, 180 00 Praha 8, Czech Republic, company registration 62419111, contactable at info@quietconcept.online. Throughout this page, "we" means MUSICAL TECHNOLOGY GANG s.r.o.

MUSICAL TECHNOLOGY GANG s.r.o. handles personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. The sections below follow those thirteen principles in order, each saying what it means on this particular site, followed by the matters that do not belong to a single principle.

This policy covers quietconcept.online and nothing else. Links in the course lead elsewhere, including the affiliate link to https://price-low.eu/a/73PqKhW7nLTR1Yj and the Australian government sites named in the steps. Those sites operate under their own privacy policies, and once you leave quietconcept.online this document no longer applies.

APP 1 — Open and transparent management of personal information

This page is the whole of our practice, written to be read rather than filed. The site is a static set of pages: no content management system, no database, no application logic. Two short pieces of first-party JavaScript run — one opens the small-screen menu, one sends a page to the printer — and neither records anything. We handle personal information in only two situations, described under APP 3.

APP 2 — Anonymity and pseudonymity

You can read every page of this site, the whole course and the checklists included, without identifying yourself. There is no account, no sign-in and no form. If you write to us, a pseudonymous address is perfectly acceptable and we will reply to it. The exception is a request for access or correction: to answer one honestly we must be able to connect it to the information concerned, which usually means writing from the address that sent the original correspondence.

APP 3 — Collection of solicited personal information

Two categories, and no others.

Server access logs. Our hosting provider records ordinary web server logs when a page is requested: the IP address making the request, the date and time, the URL requested, the referring page if your browser sends one, and the user-agent string that identifies your browser and operating system. This is a standard function of the web server rather than something we have added.

Email you send us. If you write to info@quietconcept.online we receive your email address, any name you choose to give, the content of your message and any attachment you include.

Beyond those two, nothing is collected. There are no forms and no input fields anywhere on this site. There is no account system and no progress tracking: the checklists do not remember which boxes you have ticked, because no state is stored. There are no cookies, no localStorage, no sessionStorage and no IndexedDB. There are no analytics, no advertising tags, no conversion pixels, no profiling and no cross-site tracking. There are no web fonts, no embedded video, no social widgets and no third-party scripts of any kind: every page loads only from quietconcept.online, so the site requests nothing from any other server.

APP 4 — Dealing with unsolicited personal information

Occasionally an email contains personal information we did not ask for and do not need in order to reply — details about a third party, say, or an attachment sent in error. Where it is lawful and reasonable to do so, we delete that information rather than keep it.

APP 5 — Notification of the collection of personal information

This page is the notification. It names the responsible entity, what is collected in each of the two situations, why, how long it is kept, who else receives it, that recipients may be overseas, and how to seek access, correction or a remedy. It is linked from the footer of every page, homepage included.

APP 6 — Use or disclosure of personal information

Access logs are used for keeping the site running and secure: identifying faults, investigating abuse of the server, and nothing else. The content of email is used to read and answer the message you sent.

We do not use either category for any other purpose. We do not sell, rent, trade or otherwise make personal information available to anyone for marketing, and we do not combine it with information from other sources. Information would be disclosed outside the arrangements under "Recipients" below only where a law obliges us to disclose it, or for a legal claim.

APP 7 — Direct marketing

We do not conduct direct marketing of any kind. There is no mailing list, no newsletter and no subscription, and no mechanism on this site to join one. Writing to us does not add you to anything. Nobody will be sent a reminder to continue the course, because nothing records whether anyone has started it.

APP 8 — Cross-border disclosure of personal information

Two service providers handle information on our behalf: our hosting provider, which runs the web server and keeps the access logs, and our email service provider, which carries the mailbox. Both may store or process data outside Australia. We name no country for either, because we would rather state the position accurately than guess. If you would prefer correspondence not handled that way, the postal address above is an alternative.

APP 9 — Adoption, use or disclosure of government related identifiers

This principle has no application here. We do not adopt, use or disclose any government related identifier. We do not ask for one, we have no field in which one could be entered, and we would have no use for one.

APP 10 — Quality of personal information

The only personal information we hold that could be wrong is what you have told us in an email. If something in our correspondence with you is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete, tell us and we will correct it. We build no records about readers from any other source.

APP 11 — Security of personal information

The site is served over HTTPS, so the connection between your browser and the server is encrypted. There is no database and no store of submitted information, because nothing is submitted. The hosting account and the mailbox are reachable only by people working for MUSICAL TECHNOLOGY GANG s.r.o. Logs and email are deleted on the schedules under "Retention", which limits what could be exposed at all. We claim no certification and no compliance with any particular security standard, because we hold none.

APP 12 — Access to personal information

You may ask what personal information we hold about you. Write to info@quietconcept.online with "Privacy request" in the subject line. There is no charge, and we reply within 30 days. For most people the answer is that we hold nothing: they have never written to us, and the logs from their visit are already deleted.

APP 13 — Correction of personal information

You may ask us to correct personal information we hold about you, by the same route: info@quietconcept.online, subject line "Privacy request", no charge, reply within 30 days. If we decline to make a correction we will say why in writing, and you can ask us to attach a statement of your own to the information.

Retention

Server access logs are kept for 30 days and then deleted. Email is kept for 24 months after the last message in the conversation, and is then deleted, unless it needs to be kept longer because it relates to a legal claim.

Recipients

The only organisations that handle this information are our hosting provider and our email service provider, each acting on our behalf for the purposes above. There are no advertising partners, analytics companies or data brokers, because none of those services exist here.

Affiliate links

Some links in the course are paid affiliate links, explained in full on the Affiliate Disclosure page. Following one takes you off quietconcept.online. From that point, Crossout's own website and the affiliate network that operates the link may set cookies or use similar technology on their own domains to record that the referral came from here. That happens on their sites, under their own privacy policies, and we neither control nor have access to it.

What we receive is a commission report: aggregate counts of referrals and amounts payable. We use it only to check that payments are correct, and we do not seek information that would identify an individual reader.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, write to info@quietconcept.online and set out the circumstances. We will investigate and reply within 30 days.

If our response does not satisfy you, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, which explains how at oaic.gov.au/privacy/privacy-complaints. You may go to the OAIC without hearing from us first.

Data breaches

If we have reason to believe that information held by us or by one of our two providers has been lost, or accessed or disclosed without authorisation, we will assess the incident promptly. Where serious harm to an affected person is likely, we will notify the people affected and the OAIC, in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

Children

This site is not directed at people under 16. The course is written for adults, including adults helping a younger person. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and with no forms, accounts or tracking of any kind, there is no mechanism by which a child's information could be gathered here.

Readers in the European Union and the United Kingdom

MUSICAL TECHNOLOGY GANG s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, so European data protection law applies to its activities alongside the Australian framework described above.

Our legal basis for keeping server access logs is our legitimate interest in operating the site securely and diagnosing faults. Our legal basis for handling the content of email is the need to respond to the enquiry you have chosen to send us. We rely on consent for nothing, because there are no cookies, no tracking and no marketing to consent to.

If European or United Kingdom data protection law applies to you, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Use the same route: info@quietconcept.online, subject line "Privacy request".

You may also complain to a supervisory authority. For MUSICAL TECHNOLOGY GANG s.r.o. this is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Czech Republic (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), uoou.gov.cz. Readers in the United Kingdom may instead approach the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top is updated in the same edit. Where a change materially affects how information is handled, a note saying so appears at the top of this page for 30 days afterwards, so a returning reader is not left to spot the difference.
